7E Khyber-Pass Messclub Curry King in Chung King Mansion Tsim Sha Tsui

I like Curry, and I have been trying many types of curry, Thai, Malay, Indian, HK-Cha Chan Taang Curry, Curry in Japan… Amongst all, the best one I had was in Grand Continental Hotel Mumbai in 1983 where I had a fantastic experience.
The curry was not hot that could burn your taste buds, very mild, not so much Coconut oil that would scare you… a lot of small dishes that you can try with Nan.

Some years back, I had tried one call Little Bombay in Tsim Shat Tsui, OK but not as good as I was in India.

"Midland" opposite Shangri-La Hotel was one of my favorite and my little daughter likes to go too. Very Economic. A they service a variety of curry favour, rice, chicken or beef, at HKD$80.00 , that was some 5 years ago… I think that was one of the favourite place for Indian in HK.

Ah Loong Curry in Jordan Road , next to Temple Street, That was Pakistani Curry, but the place was small that we have to wait for the seat outside the shop!
Recently I have tried the Chung King mansion 7E Curry… I found that ONLY Curry chicken is acceptable, the rest are not good.. Especially the Curry beef we could not eat at all, as it was too tough!! I talked to them that the beef was no good, the boss did not respond to me, as he might think that I am choosy. Probably the guests are keep on coming, waiting at the narrow corridor...
Well, that was my last visit there! No more…

Zuni in Makati

Zuni is an elegant in a causal cozy venue which caters to the cosmopolitan consumer of the lifestyle center of Makati and surrounding areas. Surrounded by rain forest like plantations at the open side of the restaurant.
They serve a good variety of food from sea fish, prawn, meat, and chicken to vegetarian.

I took grilled Salmon, which has a sweetened sour cream gravy. Not too salty, right to the point of the good balanced taste, I believe that was a result of an extended experience of the chef.

 is value for money.

Gathering at Tao Yuen Mei Foo

It was great fun and chatting gathering with close colleagues in Tao Yuan Restaurant 21 Jan after I returned from overseas.
We have five bottles of wine and we did a seqeuence of drink from right to left. Amongst those bottles, I nominated Nenin 1997 best wiht fine pallet of frangance of mixture of pear, lead and earth!

We had had some fish, prawns, barbeque pork, vegetable, the main host is not the wine, food not the people we are in the meeting, but all that kind of laughter’s joys, and fun we shared with old chaps some who we have being working more than 20 years in one company!

We had exchanged some most of the miserable event, happiest moment, unforgettable times, tears and laughter after we have been survived so long in a company. I had to leave for another meeting at Panda Hotel for another hour of drink with colleague from Singapore who had hand carried a Chuen Tsui Duck from Beijing sending from one very special colleague Fred who had once working with me in Shan Dong.. Wish him all the best in his current assignment. I belive one thing world is small and we will meet one day.
I believe one thing, that the honest will be honored one day.

I believe one thing; the hard working people will deserve good reward.

I believe, one day the puppy will be the bull dog one day.

I believe that one day the stock price will reach HKD$120 before Chinese New year…!
I believe true friendship will be the referee for time forever.

The next gathering will be arrange to celebrate my Blog page views is accumulated larger than 200,000!
See you next round of wine Gathering!

Arabian Cuisine In Manila

As for the first time to try out Arabian food, I chose carefully a simple Mushroom Soup, a vegetable Salad, and Ox Tongue and some beef. The taste of This Arabian food it too have, too salty and totally loss of the original taste of meat. The soup and Salad is OK and is quite Italian, but the Main course is not good as far as health is concerned, the taste is another quetsion. I will try more carefully next time to choose for the Arabian cuisine!

HK Snob The price is about HKD$50 per head. HK Snob

Hokkaido Icecream in Gateway

If you like icecream whilst you are doing a Marathon Shopping along Ocean Terminal, Ocean Centre down to Gateway Shopping Arcades, you can stop by the Food Court in front of City Super, whereby you can have a good selection of Fresh Icecream from Hokkaido. Taste is great, a bit too sweet in my standard for sweets but they are very creamy and smooth...Don't miss it...

Mou Mou Club Hong Kong

This is one of the choice if you like steam boat, especially Japanese beef!, Situated in Tsuen Wan Jesco, buffet for one hour and or 90 minutes depending afternoon or evening.
As for this afternoon, me and my daughter went to taste this Beef Buffet, we could have an unlimited supply of Beef if your stomach could hold it...Two hot drinks, other food like Toufu, Spinach, Udon, Noodles, Sausages...
One thing I do not like is that the stwardesses came to me every 15 minutes reminding me how much time Left for the food, I think they should remind their customers once 15 minutes before the ending time should be good enough. As I do not like being PUSHED everytime when I am having meal. As I could see my neigbourers were trying to eat as much as they could in limited time of 60 minutes. I do not think that is good idea for their health.
